I live in Fort Collins, Colorado and paint daily
(maybe exception of a weekend day).
My favorite media are: paintings on glass (inspired by
Massimo Cruciani -- you can see his work on his website or New
Masters Gallery -- unlike anything I've ever seen, discovered
him while travelling in Italy recently); oil paintings, palette
knife only, on canvas; and soft pastels.
I tend to paint landscapes, particularly from travels, skyscapes,
heavily influenced by J.M.W. Turner. I just saw his show
at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and florals (years ago
worked in pressed and dried flowers, grew all of my own flowers,
very familiar with the ins and outs of them).
I
aspire to paint figures, will be working on that, should be especially
nice in glass paintings.
